Unlike other minimap mods, Xaero’s Minimap mod 1.12.2 is the most stable, vanilla map there is. This means that not only is the map mod less laggy than the others that are available, but it keeps the vanilla Minecraft aesthetics, meaning that players who aren’t looking for game-changer mods can simply install this mod and won’t even realise that it is a mod. The HUD map can be dragged wherever the player decides, and also works in caves too. This means that players can go anywhere in the world of Minecraft and the map will continue to be of use. The map itself by default rotates as the player looks around, making it the first rotating minimap that was created and developed as a Minecraft mod. Not only that, but items are also displayed and presented as red dots upon the map, making it a very unique and original mod to have installed in Minecraft. Xaero’s Minimap mod comes with features such as a Slime Chunk mode, where chunks that slimes spawn can be shown on the minimap. This is extremely helpful and convenient if you are trying to build items like sticky pistons for redstrone contraptions, as instead of searching the world for a slime for slimeballs, players can simply turn on the Slime Chunks setting and hunt slimes. Xaero’s Minimap mod is also packed full of different languages so that players across the world can download and use this mad, making it even more brilliant. There are co-ordinates shown directly under the HUD minimap to help when searching out for loot, meaning that players can easily navigate to certain places. Waypoints have been added to the mod, allowing a player to keep track of their findings and buildings like their houses and other explored areas. Xaero’s Minimap is amazing.
